What's My Number?
One of my go-to maths warm-ups is What’s My Number? It’s a fast, brain-teasing guessing game that keeps students engaged.
How to Play
Choose a number and give one clue, like “My number is even.” Ask students to guess by saying "What's my number?". If no one gets it, give another clue like "My number is a multiple of 4." to help them figure it out. Keep going until someone identifies the number!
Some more examples:
Number 16
My number is even. It's between 10-20 and also a square number.
Number 43
My number is odd. It's greater than 40, but less than 50.
Number 67
My number is greater than 60, less than 70. It is both prime and odd number.
