... and I used to hit report time with no idea what assessment data I actually had.
I'd spend evenings Googling for an assessment that actually matched what I'd taught, then give up and pull together random worksheets, hoping they'd be enough. Or run a massive end-of-term test that tried to cover everything at once. The results were too unreliable to use. I wasted so much time on assessments that never really worked.
