Maths Tic-Tac-Toe
Who says Tic-Tac-Toe is just a simple paper-and-pencil game? Give it a maths twist and watch your students thinking, calculating, and having fun as they compete!
How It Works
Students begin by drawing a Tic-Tac-Toe grid on their mini whiteboards. Give them a target number, and their task is to fill the grid with numbers that add up to that target. They earn points whenever a row, column, or diagonal hits the target.
Top Tip: Pairing students up makes the game more exciting and keeps everyone involved.
For Example:
If the target number is 10, students fill the grid so each row, column, or diagonal adds up to 10. Points are scored for every correct pattern they complete.
